This movie is undeniably silly, yet it works incredibly well. The central idea—a hardened CIA operative tasked with extracting an unremarkable individual from obscurity and having him impersonate a deceased agent—isn’t exactly new territory. What makes this film special is the dynamic where Jim Belushi simultaneously builds up John Ritter's self-assurance while also physically roughing him up. The result is laugh-out-loud funny. There’s also plenty of absurd comedy to go around. It’s a guaranteed win.
