I had very little anticipation for seeing this film, and my plan was probably just to watch it on DVD later. However, since I didn’t have anything else going on, and it happened to be my birthday and Mayi was paying, I decided to go ahead and see it. The animation quality was impressive; I appreciated the visuals a lot. The story itself wasn't bad either. Still, the narrative moved at such a slow pace that I almost fell asleep. It seemed like some portions of the movie could have been removed without affecting anything.
