It’s an enjoyable film that I wouldn't mind seeing again, and I feel comfortable suggesting it to others. I get why people are excited about Spielberg’s take on the character of Alan Quartermaine; I just haven’t personally connected with it. To be honest, Nazis aren't really my thing. They were probably considered a thrilling antagonist at one point, but they don't do much for me now. Harrison Ford is definitely what holds the movie together, though Karen Allen also has great chemistry with him and delivers an impressive performance on her own. At the very least, Spielberg knows how to create a strong sense of mood, and the film manages to be quite absorbing and interesting. It’s not something I'd want to watch constantly, but when I do decide to view it, I expect to become invested and have a good experience.
