It was an acceptable film to view once, though I don’t anticipate revisiting it and can’t really suggest it to others. I don’t particularly care for Debby Ryan’s acting style; that said, she does demonstrate capability in certain roles, and I'll concede that she essentially holds the entire movie together. My personal dislike of her performance might have influenced my assessment. The concept of her playing a teenage ghost who operates as an airwaves defender is something I found appealing. However, the element of corporate backing introduces a peculiar aspect to the narrative. While it provides some necessary plot points, it feels somewhat out of place with the overall tone. A more compelling storyline involves the pursuit of Radio Rebel, which takes unexpected directions before arriving at a fairly foreseeable conclusion. It’s an adequate enough film, but ultimately unremarkable.
