The second installment, *Pusher II*, is an advancement over the first, though not by a huge margin. I thought this 2004 film was more enjoyable to sit through, and that’s not because there's less violence—there certainly is!—but simply as a movie overall; it just seems better crafted and the storyline has moved forward somewhat. It’s still far from flawless or something I found completely captivating, but I do consider it considerably better than the original *Pusher*. I would have liked to see a continuation focusing on Kim Bodnia's Frank, at least in terms of the character—though if we’re talking about actors, Mads Mikkelsen is who I’d rather watch. He delivers a solid performance, eight years after his first role in the initial film. Aside from Mikkelsen, Leif Sylvester Petersen stands out most, although honestly, the rest of the supporting cast are pretty much on par with each other. I'm curious to see what direction the third and final movie takes, especially with Mads Mikkelsen not being involved and, as far as I can tell from a quick check just out of curiosity, Kim Bodnia’s continued absence. Viaplay suggested *Pusher 3* at the end of this one, and their promotional image includes Zlatko Burić, so he's at least making it three appearances in total.
