This is a decent follow-up, continuing the story from the previous installment (though some time has passed, leaving certain details unaddressed). The narrative finds paranormal investigators returning to the old hotel. David Allen directs, bringing his experience with puppet effects—specifically from *Puppetmaster*—to this project. Andre Toulon is present throughout the film and takes a particular interest in Carolyn, who bears a striking resemblance to his deceased wife. It’s unclear what his intentions are if he were to take her, or whether any actions would align with the puppets' objectives. The puppets aren't just targeting humans; they're also attacking animals, which seems to bother Toulon. A new puppet named Torch quickly begins eliminating people. Two of the puppets meet their end—their identities withheld here—with one being immediately subjected to dissection afterward. While different from its predecessor, this film is primarily set in daylight, but it doesn’t detract from the experience; the acting is acceptable and Toulon's appearance is appropriately unsettling. In the movie, Toulon states he "knows how to get into things," and if you have any good judgment, you should give this film a viewing. It earns a 7/10.
