This is a genuinely enjoyable film that I’d happily watch again and suggest to others. Brittany Snow delivers an excellent performance; she convincingly portrays her character's fear while also presenting a powerful female protagonist. There are other performers in the cast as well. To be frank, Idris Elba and Johnathon Schaech contribute significantly to the movie's success. A clever element is its decision to present the antagonist’s perspective, almost treating him like another main character. It’s easy to get behind his actions, especially given how unpleasant some of the teenagers are. It's difficult to discuss further without revealing too much, but I can confidently say that they effectively track his journey while maintaining suspense about the villain's intentions.
