It had been quite some time since I’d seen a film this enjoyable. The narrative itself was excellent, managing to incorporate humor, thrills, happiness, and sorrow in equal measure. The impressive imagery enhanced the story without becoming excessive or lingering on purely aesthetic displays. What’s more, I appreciated that Rocky didn't end up being just another charming extraterrestrial character.
