The film is simply not that engaging from a cinematic perspective. It was intriguing to witness the movie’s depiction of a distinct portrayal of Elvis Presley, an unfolding that feels unsettling but seems like a story that needed to be shared. However, that's essentially all I have to offer in terms of praise for this release. As a film itself, it’s quite dull. I question whether there was sufficient material for a feature-length movie, particularly one running close to 1 hour and 45 minutes. I will acknowledge that Cailee Spaeny delivers a commendable performance as the central character. Regarding Jacob Elordi's portrayal of Elvis, I don’t think it works very well. Without prior knowledge, I wouldn't have recognized him as Elvis, beyond some costumes and his distinctive fringe hairstyle. His accent also struck me as odd; amusingly, considering the director’s background, he sounds more like Nicolas Cage (around 1997, in *Con Air* as Cameron Poe) during phone conversations. While the visuals are technically proficient, I can't honestly say that this film left a lasting impression on me. I didn’t feel as though I gained any new insights into Priscilla herself. Sadly, it seems unlikely I will recall this movie for very long.
