This film presents an entertaining adventure centered around a vessel transporting dangerous wildlife from the Amazon to Puerto Rico. The narrative kicks off when a political assassin, covertly being transferred to the United States (played by Kevin Durand), manages to break free and unleashes the animals, creating widespread chaos. Nicolas Cage and Famke Janssen lead the ensemble cast. "Primal," released in 2019, delivers an enjoyable, fast-paced ship adventure complete with jungle elements. It draws comparisons to films like "Under Siege," "The Lost Continent," and even evokes a bit of Tarzan.
