I’m starting with a simple question: how is anyone supposed to view this film as anything other than what it is? A friend recently explained that exorcism and demonic possession don't actually unfold the way they are portrayed, but rather represent exaggerated dramatic presentations. Knowing that has made it difficult for me to invest in the movie’s premise. If someone claimed this was based on actual events, I would question that assertion. Nevertheless, it remains quite frightening!
