Genuine survival horror experiences are uncommon now, and even rarer when executed effectively. _Prey_ falls into the category of the former, though not so much the latter. It's an acceptable film; looking at what other viewers have said about _Prey_, it appears I appreciated aspects of it more than many, but I can understand why those criticisms are considered legitimate. Final rating:★★½ - There was a great deal to like, but it didn’t fully succeed as a complete package.
