The premise involves characters struggling for survival while submerged underwater inside a confined space. I may be giving this a lower score than some others might, but I had my reasons. The central idea was interesting and fairly original, however, the script didn’t quite reach its full potential. Recognizing that it's a film made on a small budget with a limited number of actors, I do acknowledge the production values which were surprisingly good. Still, the plot felt overly simplistic and predictable. It would have stood a better chance of making an impact if it had been more daring, because there are many people willing to take risks on smaller films like this. It’s essentially a “trapped” scenario, something you could compare to the reverse of "Gravity." One story unfolds above us, and this one takes place beneath the ocean's surface. I wasn’t expecting much given what I knew about its limitations, but it didn’t quite feel believable. Another factor is that I’ve seen many great low-budget movies with inventive concepts where this film just fell short. The story follows a diving team sent to repair a damaged underwater pipeline who find themselves isolated in a small pod after losing contact with their ship. The four members then fight to stay alive under difficult circumstances, primarily focusing on conserving oxygen until help arrives. This is the narrative that unfolds over its ninety-minute runtime. I think the cast and crew deserve credit for their work, as filming around thirty to forty percent of the movie underwater is a real challenge. Initially, it seemed promising, but that feeling didn't last, particularly because the ending was disappointing. It’s a made-up story; if it had been similar to "The 33," even an ordinary story inspired by true events might have earned more audience sympathy. I don't believe it's worth watching unless you have nothing else to do and want something to fill your time, in which case it could be a passable distraction. 4/10
