The movie adapts Robert A Heinlein’s short story, All You Zombies, and it's really good, exploring paradoxes and how tangled they could get if time travel existed. When I mention time travel, I mean the kind where you can change things that happened or will happen, not just observe them. It requires some serious concentration, so be ready to watch it more than once. The acting is superb; _Ethan Hawke_ is great as usual. But _Sarah Snook_ deserves special recognition – she’s truly talented! She carries the emotional weight of the first part of the film and makes it incredibly believable. Time travel stories often have plot issues, but Predestination manages to be complete from start to finish.
