Okay, here’s my take on this review: I have no idea what time it is, but I feel like yelling! It might be the wrong film in the series, but I had to say something about Walton Goggins—I'm a big fan. What really impressed me was that this movie offered a fresh viewpoint. I went into it worried that it would frustrate me, especially given how disappointed I was with the ending of *Prey* (2022), but I ended up enjoying myself and am now eager to see what the director does next. I just hope he doesn't mess things up. **SPOILER WARNING:** Dek, Thia, and Bud have become my favorite characters in this franchise alongside Dutch. Bud is simply charming throughout the entire movie. Some of my most memorable scenes with him are: 1. The first encounter between Dek, Thia, and Bud. 2. When Bud imitates Dek by the fire. 3. The moment Bud waves around that severed arm. *Badlands* (2025) now ranks among my top choices in this franchise, alongside *Predator* (1987) and *Predators* (2010): 1. *Predator* (1987), *Predators* (2010), *Badlands* (2025) 2. *Killer of Killers* (2025) 3. *Prey* (2022)—I wish they’d made the final fight longer instead of having the Predator act so foolishly; that's my recollection, at least. 4. *Alien vs. Predator* (2004), *The Predator* (2018) 6. *Predator 2* (1990)—It’s last because the acting is just so bad it pulls you out of the film. I don't believe I've ever seen *Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem* (2007).
