It seemed like a really promising concept, delving into the Predators' background and customs! I’d wanted to see more of that even after the earlier "Predators" film. It was enjoyable seeing how they connected it with “Alien,” and I appreciated that initial crossover in AVP as well. However, some issues prevented it from fully succeeding. Having to read subtitles for extended periods felt unnecessary, particularly since one of the characters was speaking English through a device. The Predator’s core characteristic has always been about the pursuit, so I could overlook what they did here; it was inventive, but ultimately the narrative felt shaky, as if the filmmakers weren't certain who the antagonist should be. It had potential and some good ideas, but it just didn’t feel quite finished.
