The follow-up shifts the setting from a real jungle to a city environment, and Arnold Schwarzenegger’s role is taken over by Danny Glover. The antagonist remains consistent; however, the film telegraphs everything early on, eliminating any sense of anticipation. A notably unremarkable cast—including Gary Busey as "Keyes" and Adam Baldwin as "Garber"—contributes to its rapid decline into a collection of uninspired visual effects alongside Glover’s predictable portrayal of a police officer. While the movie moves at a brisk pace, filled with action sequences, Sylvia Saunders ("Ruth") seems capable of inflicting harm even with everyday objects, but ultimately, I felt like an observer because it simply isn't well-made.
