I used to dislike _Predator 2_ when I was younger, but revisiting it now, I realize my initial assessment was too harsh. It isn't terrible; rather, its significant inferiority compared to the original film (which is among my top five movies of all time) made it feel like a letdown. Seeing it with a different perspective, I’ve come to appreciate aspects of _Predator 2_ that I previously missed. While I wouldn’t call it a good movie, I don't avoid watching it during extended viewings the way I used to. The film adds interesting details to the Predator universe, and its influence even inspired my Escher Necromunda gang; as a result, I feel pretty neutral about it overall. _Final rating:★★½ - Had a lot that appealed to me, didn’t quite work as a whole._
