It proved to be an enjoyable movie, although also quite thoughtful. The film’s title makes its intention clear: it's designed as a spoof of 'Justin Bieber: Never Say Never'. I haven’t had the chance to see that one myself, but this film was genuinely fun to watch, similar in spirit to something like 'Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story'. If you appreciate movies that blend music and comedy, then this is likely to appeal to your tastes. What stood out most for me was the writing; even the song lyrics were impressive. While the directors handled their responsibilities effectively, ultimately it was the performances of the actors that really carried the film. Andy Samberg was excellent. The movie unfolds through a documentary format, using interviews and behind-the-scenes footage—seemingly unedited recordings. It centers on three members of a well-known American band. When things were going exceptionally well for them, an unexpected split occurred. The lead singer then pursued a solo career and achieved some measure of success. However, he faced challenges related to his relationship with his girlfriend and their wedding plans, as well as difficulties with his manager. What followed was essentially the story of his transformation and return to a more grounded life. This isn’t based on anyone's actual life story, but it's still worth seeing. The narrative doesn't dwell heavily on drugs or sex—although those elements are present to some degree—making it suitable viewing for adults. Don't go into this expecting just a frivolous comedy; there's a surprising amount of substance here. You’ll enjoy the music, and you’ll also find yourself laughing along the way. It has a good balance of elements, making it a fairly uncommon type of comedy. _7/10_
