The male characters are unlikeable. The female characters, who engage in relationships across racial and ideological lines, come off as sympathetic. That’s essentially it. I am taken aback that there was no representation of transgender people; perhaps they will appear in an extended version. It felt tedious to watch. It's just incredibly dull.
