Yorgos Lanthimos has created an impressive and ambitious movie that examines fundamental questions about existence, womanhood, life itself, and the nature of love. The story centers on Bella Baxter, a character who receives an unexpected opportunity at life through an unusual medical procedure. Viewers will be prompted to consider complex ideas, while also being captivated by the film’s striking visuals and the actors' dedication to their roles. I felt that the movie was quite peculiar, blending elements reminiscent of Frankenstein with those found in Eat, Pray, Love. It’s best not to overanalyze what you are witnessing; instead, allow yourself to be absorbed by the narrative, appreciating its artistry and engaging your senses completely. I award it 4 out of 5 stars for its originality.
