The visuals and musical accompaniment really stand out as some of Studio Ghibli's finest work. The narrative isn't as layered as many of their other films, but that’s perfectly acceptable; it doesn’t have to be overly profound or intricate every time. I enjoyed watching this film. It was amusing to see Matt Damon’s character—in the dubbed version—attempting to return home. He seems to always be misplaced or separated from his residence.
