It’s possible _Goosebumps_ didn’t improve on the concept, though they were certainly early adopters of it. The notion of cameras being haunted has existed practically since the invention of photography, although this film arrived just a bit later. _Polaroid_ rushes through familiar imagery at a breakneck pace, and despite my appreciation for Kathryn Prescott's performance, the movie isn’t really suited to showcase her talents. Final rating:★★ - There were elements I enjoyed, but ultimately it didn’t quite work out well.
