"Pocket Listing" manages to blend satirical dark comedy with stylish neo noir, pulling you into a realm of luxury and affluence before unexpectedly shifting the focus onto its central figure, sending him spiraling downward into poverty. The core plot involving a lucrative opportunity kicks off the entertaining aspects, but beyond that, there's also an underlying sense of compassion and genuine feeling within this story about someone attempting to find redemption while navigating a system where you have to be more dishonest than anyone else to make it.
