This film arrived with little fanfare, yet it makes a considerable impression. Alan Tudyk delivers an exceptional portrayal of a man burdened by sorrow and bereavement. He stands out as the central figure, even though his role isn't positioned that way within the narrative. The story simply wouldn’t exist without him; Tudyk’s skill in character work is readily apparent. The other performers are adequate, but none of those characters prove to be appealing or worthy of investment. Their acting is passable, but unremarkable. It’s a perfectly acceptable choice for an evening of entertainment, though the primary reason to see it is Tudyk's performance.
