A significant work within the genre of queer jukebox comedies. It possesses an awkwardness that’s characteristic of a film created by a group of young actors during the early 2010s. The movie reflects its era, with both positive and negative consequences. I find myself simultaneously appreciating and disliking Beca Mitchell; she'll always hold a certain place in my mind. With the exception of Luke, all the male characters were unintentionally amusing. While many viewers are fond of Jesse, I didn’t connect with him at all, and the romantic plot seemed contrived—I am firmly on Team Bechloe. Dr. Mitchell evokes comparisons to the father from *American Dreams*, a character whom I strongly dislike. The most genuinely touching and impactful storyline follows the Bellas' experiences. My Barden Bellas, you achieved something remarkable.
