It turned out to be more enjoyable than I expected. I genuinely had a good time watching 'Pitch Perfect'. That’s mostly because of the appealing music and a cast that is easy to like. The story itself isn't particularly remarkable, but those elements are handled well. Anna Kendrick, as Beca, is someone you can enjoy watching, and Skylar Astin (Jesse) plays a supporting role, though I thought his performance was uneven. Rebel Wilson (Fat Amy) and Brittany Snow (Chloe) were the most memorable of the others, even if all of The Barden Bellas are quite good overall. Adam DeVine (Bumper) also provides some laughs. There are definitely a few awkward moments, and not every joke hits its mark, but for the most part it's an entertaining film – at least in my view. I’m curious about what happens next with the sequels!
