It seems like many films featuring classic cartoon figures now entering the public domain are being exploited for low-budget horror, but this one manages to succeed where others have failed. It’s simply a well-made horror film. The characters are relatable and the villain's reasons make sense, which allows for a natural development of suspense. The plot twist feels appropriate and the conclusion is satisfying; it's genuinely enjoyable from beginning to end. I believe this deserves a recommendation.
