Laura Galán portrays Sara, who typically assists her father in his butcher shop and faces constant rejection and mistreatment from classmates due to her size, alongside a lack of understanding from her demanding mother, Carmen Machi. The situation escalates when three acquaintances humiliate her while she's swimming and then steal her clothes. While fleeing home, she unexpectedly meets a van carrying an unusual pair—one passenger seemingly reluctant to be present. Soon after, a missing person inquiry begins, and Sara’s bullies vanish as well. Amidst growing community anxiety and accusations flying in all directions, the central question becomes: what information does Sara possess? The film offers a harsh portrayal of bullying in various forms, and Galán's performance is quite captivating. However, this intense and unsettling drama loses momentum after a powerfully unpleasant opening, ultimately settling into a somewhat foreseeable and underwhelming resolution. It seems that director Carlota Pereda hesitated to maintain the initial, more inventive and character-driven direction, which would have resulted in a far more complex and fulfilling ending. The film is certainly viewable, occasionally provoking discomfort, but falls short of its potential.
