The initial portion of "Phone Booth" feels somewhat sluggish, but the story soon accelerates and gains considerable intensity. Colin Farrell and Forest Whitaker both give remarkable performances that contribute significantly to the movie's palpable tension. Kiefer Sutherland, familiar to me through his role in 24, is unsettling as the disembodied voice on the phone, creating a threatening presence despite having limited appearances. It’s also noteworthy that the entire film was completed in just ten days, plus two more for some additional scenes. It's remarkable how they managed to produce such a suspenseful work within so brief a timeframe. I found it quite enjoyable.
