'Peter Pan & Wendy' doesn’t really stand out as particularly good or bad; it comes across as fairly unremarkable. I have to say, even when I was younger, the story of Peter Pan never quite resonated with me. The Disney animated movies are ones that I consider decent, but they didn’t really appeal to me very much. I suppose my issue is that the narrative feels rather simplistic; there's nothing substantial for me to engage with. I do appreciate how this adaptation makes some alterations, especially concerning the history of Hook and Peter Pan. Also, Tinker Bell's characterization—I always thought it was strange that she’d be envious of Wendy in previous versions—feels much more sensible in this 2023 film. I have to commend the creative team for these changes. However, those adjustments weren’t enough for me to find enjoyment in it. It is at least an improvement over the 1991 movie, *Hook*. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
