It had been some time since I’d seen Dominic Monaghan deliver a noteworthy performance in 'The Millionaire Tour'. This movie wasn't terrible, but it brought to mind other films such as 'Tusk' and 'Eyes of my Mother', although only in terms of subject matter. The script would have benefited from expanding on the more dramatic moments; as is, it felt straightforward, even though the plot twists helped carry it through. They weren’t particularly shocking, but for a story this small, they worked well enough. I appreciated how the characters' roles shifted throughout the film. It was a clever design that gave the thriller an element of mystery. The character Seth proved to be quite intriguing, but exploring his story didn't have much depth later on, especially after the initial twist came out. The second half took some unexpected turns, and this is where the storytelling began to lose its way; I think one reason was that it became predictable. It was an enjoyable film up until the ending, which I felt was disappointing—too formulaic. It seemed clear they’re hoping for a sequel, so they left things unresolved. A more conclusive finish would have made it a better movie. _5/10_
