Perfect Stranger aims to be a clever psychological suspense movie, yet ultimately comes across as disorganized due to underdeveloped concepts. The narrative begins with promise, establishing an interesting puzzle, but the way things unfold is chaotic. Rather than developing tension organically, it incorporates contrived plot turns and superfluous side stories that leave the story feeling disjointed instead of captivating. The writing isn't strong; conversations feel stilted, and characters behave in ways that are difficult to believe. The directing and visual style don’t improve matters. Camera angles seem odd, frequently using extreme close-ups that crop out parts of actors’ heads, which is visually distracting.
