I had a few reservations about certain aspects of _Peppermint_, particularly the way the timeline was presented; it wasn't exactly what I would have preferred. Some of these problems lessened as the movie went on, but they still lingered in my thoughts. However, when you’re looking for a revenge film like this, you really want to see some satisfying violence and impactful moments, and _Peppermint_ doesn't disappoint in that regard. It wasn't a huge success for me personally, which is disappointing because I was initially drawn in by the trailer, but I am pleased it earned back its budget. If we can get a remake of _Death Wish_, then maybe we could also see more movies similar to _Peppermint_. _Final rating:★★½ - It had a lot going for it, but ultimately didn’t quite come together._
