The story felt like an animated adaptation of Harry Chapin’s “Cat’s in the Cradle.” It opens with a father on a short car trip with his young daughter, and over just a few minutes, we see her mature, move away from him, develop her own friendships—and witness the difficulties that arise as their bond loses some of the initial closeness. Years pass, and she finds the old vehicle they used to travel in. The thought arises: could it still function? And if so, maybe it’s a good time to make an effort to reconnect with her father. While I felt the animation style was somewhat stiff, the song, appropriately named "No Wrong Way Home," effectively underscores their experiences and gets across what it's trying to say.
