This film just didn’t work out well. It features numerous performers, but none of them were able to prevent it from being a failure. That’s disappointing, because with another filmmaker at the helm, this could have been a genuinely gripping and exciting experience. As it stands, it feels like something made specifically for television. John Woo's direction felt uninspired and relied on tired tropes; the editing seemed careless, and the music was excessive, inappropriate, and frankly distracting.
