It’s undeniable that terrorism is associated with a particular religion, and this film confronts that reality. This has been one of the strongest films I've seen lately. It draws from true events, specifically the 2013 Boston marathon bombing. The movie really opened my eyes; before seeing it, I was only familiar with the bombing itself, but I now understand there were even more significant occurrences that unfolded over a week afterward. What stood out most was the lack of individual heroes—everyone played a role in confronting evil. It seemed like the actors, even those with smaller parts, collaborated on the script. I really appreciated how different teams came together to address the situation. It felt incredibly impressive, almost like a display of patriotism. The film begins by showing diverse people from all over Boston preparing for the marathon, and then they converge at the same location when explosions erupt. Security agencies quickly unite to investigate, launching a pursuit based on a minimal piece of evidence. That was definitely a highlight for me. The hunt felt satisfying. It’s a suspenseful thriller with a well-structured plot and a great resolution. The direction was superb. It's another success in the same year as 'Deepwater Horizon,' which is interesting because Wahlberg appears in both. I also heard that two screenplays were combined to create this film—one focused on drama, the other on action—which explains its balance between personal stories and larger events. This is a movie you really should watch. _8.5/10_
