It’s refreshing to see that even after so many zombie stories in recent years, occasionally something different still manages to come along. _Patient Zero_ had elements I hadn't encountered before, and regardless of whether they were fresh ideas or not, Stanley Tucci gave a strong performance. However, having some unique aspects doesn't automatically make a movie worthwhile. There are definitely moments in _Patient Zero_ that feel quite foolish. I didn’t dislike it, but it’s unlikely I would watch it again. _Final rating:★★½ - It had many things that interested me, but ultimately the whole thing didn’t come together._
