This science-fiction film presents some truly striking visuals alongside moments of considerable discomfort. Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt portray characters who find themselves adrift on a starship experiencing technical difficulties, leaving them with limited agency over their situation. Initially, they occupy themselves with the abundant resources available to them. However, when one individual breaks the law against the other, they discover there’s no established society or legal framework to resolve the issue.
