It became clear fairly early on—around fifteen minutes—that this was going to be a poorly executed television pilot, and that suspicion was confirmed when it ended with a cliffhanger typical of a film. Still, I imagine if it had been expanded into a series, there would have been people who enjoyed it... though I probably wouldn't have been one, unless later episodes proved significantly more engaging. As a standalone movie, however, it simply doesn’t provide much to appreciate.
