It felt like _Paradise Hills_ had potential, which makes it frustrating that it didn't fully live up to it. It also came close to being truly bad, so the fact that it managed to avoid that is something, even if it isn't a particularly strong endorsement. Final rating:★★½ - There were aspects I liked, but ultimately it wasn’t successful as a complete package.
