A movie centering on an open relationship and a person’s struggle to discover themselves ultimately leads to feelings of jealousy. The premise was promising; I've encountered similar stories from both European and American cinema, but this one didn’t live up to its potential. It felt very muddled. Apparently the writers struggled with how to conclude the narrative after such an intriguing beginning. To be honest, I wasn’t anticipating a particularly insightful resolution, but the story couldn’t even manage a satisfactory conclusion. I'm quite let down by the abrupt ending and lack of explanation. The title was deceptive; you have to reach the very end to grasp its meaning, and even then it doesn’t fully resonate. The plot is essentially nonexistent, or perhaps it can be reduced to a single sentence. It follows two young people who agree to maintain an open relationship, but one person finds it difficult to adjust after spending time together, which creates mistrust and questions about the nature of their encounters. Things could escalate into something unpleasant, but there’s no clear indication of what prevents that, especially concerning their future as decided in the final portion of the story. I did enjoy the initial part, but the second half was a letdown. I understand the character was grappling with uncertainty, but why should the filmmaker intentionally confuse the audience too? That section needed more development to make it understandable. While it attempted something different, it wasn’t an effective approach for this kind of story. The acting was good, and the film's production values were decent; I think it is acceptable viewing, although not universally appealing. Considering the mature themes present, it's better suited for adult audiences. _4/10_
