It's a skillfully made comedy that manages to be amusing while also prompting some interesting thoughts as it concludes. The performers do a great job of making you invested in what happens to the people involved, which is really important for this kind of story. A common problem with plots like these is avoiding monotony through repeated scenes, and *Palm Springs* tackles that very well. Each cycle felt captivating, and I discovered myself appreciating the experience repeatedly. To be honest, I wouldn’t have been upset if it had been a bit longer—I was having such a good time. However, I would have preferred there to be less of a romantic element. The change in feel seemed somewhat sudden around the third section, but at the same time, it's difficult to object when that romance is so important to what’s happening.
