It seems like somebody at Canon thought, "There aren’t enough arm wrestling movies," and decided to try filling that niche. I can honestly say I’d never encountered a film centered on arm wrestling before this one—it appears to be unique. Despite its unusual premise, the movie features a soundtrack reminiscent of 1980s action films, and it presents a compelling narrative about a young man attempting to rebuild his relationship with his father, who works as both a truck driver and an arm wrestler. Remarkably, the film succeeds in being quite enjoyable, especially considering its subject matter—a sport that seems inherently dull. Somehow, they’ve made it appear exciting, though I'm not sure how they accomplished this using just a standard montage sequence typical of the 80s. Regardless, it genuinely works, so form your own opinion and give it a view because it surpasses expectations.
