It’s just incredibly boring, really. A captivating film about an unending conflict simply isn't achieved here. It fails to make any kind of statement regarding drones, robots, or artificial intelligence utilized in warfare. Nor does it succeed as a standard action movie; the single action sequence consists only of computer-generated imagery depicting more computer-generated imagery, and it doesn’t advance the narrative whatsoever. The actors chosen for the roles are problematic, with the central characters seeming either to be performing excessively or appearing lost and ineffective. While technically polished and visually appealing, the film lacks interest and a discernible purpose. It's best to steer clear of this one. I won’t rate it lower than 5 because of its substantial production costs, but it feels impersonal and may not warrant such investment.
