If you're susceptible to flashing lights, this might not be for you. The movie "Outer Space" is so consistently dark and filled with flickering that it brought to mind bats swarming a woman—seemingly Barbara Hershey—in a vampire film, rather than a science fiction setting. It’s difficult to say exactly what the story is trying to convey, but it felt like an unsettlingly lit and fast-moving abstract work, seemingly built from scenes taken from another movie. Despite its brevity, it creates a real feeling of danger; the experience lasts about ten minutes.
