Our Little Secret manages to be a pleasant Christmas film even with its shortcomings. The writing felt somewhat mechanical; it seemed as though it was striving to incorporate every expected element of a holiday film. However, the narrative itself proved enjoyable and featured enough cheerful scenes to maintain interest. Lindsay Lohan’s acting wasn't particularly strong in this movie. Her portrayal lacked spark, but George Harding and Kristin Chenoweth compensated for that. They infused their characters with more vitality and personality, which helped even things out. Chenoweth especially contributed a sense of humor and warmth that suited the Christmas atmosphere well. It’s true that Our Little Secret isn't exceptional, but it provides an agreeable viewing experience during the holidays. It’s the sort of film you might choose when seeking something uncomplicated and festive; not flawless, but perfectly acceptable for a relaxed Christmas evening.
