‘Operation Dumbo Drop’ isn’t terrible, but it feels underwhelming and drags on a little. The performers are a positive aspect, though. Danny Glover as Cahill and Ray Liotta as Doyle work well together, and while Denis Leary playing Poole and Doug E. Doug as Ashford don't deliver anything particularly striking, they’re acceptable; Linh, portrayed by Dinh Thien Le, is also fine. It was interesting to spot Raymond Cruz too, seeing him early in his career before his role as Tuco. It gets the impression that Glover, Liotta and Leary weren't fans of it, based on comments Leary made later; however, it seems their dissatisfaction stemmed from issues during filming rather than with the finished movie itself. I probably won’t watch this again in a hurry, but I don’t dislike it either.
