The film centers around three generations—a child, a young man, and an older gentleman nearing old age. It’s primarily told from the perspective of that elderly man, marking both the beginning and end of his story. He's grieving the loss of his son, and the narrative starts a week into the mourning period, cleverly sidestepping some of the more obvious emotional scenes. It appears he’s choosing an unconventional way to process his grief. His behavior changes; he becomes less considerate of those around him, especially a neighboring couple, for a specific reason. However, their young son enters the picture, and together they start breaking rules and engaging in mischievous activities. Later, another child joins them, leading to what turns out to be an unforgettable day of adventure. Therefore, this film might not resonate with everyone experiencing similar circumstances, but it does offer a different perspective. I appreciated the performances of all the main actors, and the music was excellent; it really enhanced the overall experience, particularly during transitions between scenes. I can’t recall when I last watched a Hebrew film, but this one was enjoyable. The way the plot unfolded might not satisfy viewers seeking purely lighthearted entertainment or those who demand strict logic. However, some audiences look for lessons, morals, or messages within a film. Frankly, this movie didn't overtly emphasize any of those elements, yet it also contained them in subtle ways.
