It's like "The Ring" mixed with "The Grudge," but updated for the cell phone era—a genuinely unsettling film. The premise involves people receiving disturbing texts on their phones, messages that predict their demise within a short timeframe. Even though the movie runs longer than it perhaps needs to, the palpable sense of dread and the unsettling mood held my attention completely.
